She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Buhrmann and Verona Buhrmann; her husband Anthony "Fritz" Fries; her son Michael Fries; her grandson John L. Jefferies Mayer; her son-in-law Steve O'Connor; her sisters, Betty Conners and Ginny Frank; and her sister-in-law Sherry Crow.
She is survived by: her daughter Sylvia; and her great grandchildren, Vickie Bransom (Dan), Matt (Priyanan), Mark (Yvonne), Julie Mayer (Todd), Cindy O'Connor, Lani Childers, Eric Childers (Brittany), Christie Stork (Jacob), Lisa Rivers (Brian), Michael Bransom (Cinthia), Jacob Fries, Jennifer Fries, Jacque Grant (Edmund), Ted Mayer, John Mayer (Kaitie), Sylvie O'Connor (Matthew Luebbe), Mary O'Connor, Hudson Childers, Watson Childers, Jackson Stork, Tori Stork, Daniel Rivers, Joshua Bransom and Henry Mayer.
