He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore J. Adams Sr. and Susan N. Adams; and his brother Ernest Adams. He is survived by: his uncle Sandy Jones; and his sibling's children, Cynthia McDonald and Andre Adams (Leigh Heggie Adams).

Memorial donations may be made to the Cincinnati Zoo or Hospice of Cincinnati.
