He is survived by: his wife Claire Arling Cahill; his children, Brian Thomas Cahill, Daniel James Cahill (Jill), Kathleen Cahill Kammerer (Jonathan), Sean Patrick Cahill (Cristyn), Timothy Jude Cahill (Pia) and Kevin Joseph Cahill (Laura); his grandchildren, Katelyn Claire Kammerer, Jonathan Francis Kammerer, Annalese Marie Cahill, Emily Elizabeth Kammerer, Patrick Thomas Cahill, Ainsley Mae Cahill, Theodore James Cahill, Quinlan James Cahill, Caroline Cahill Kammerer, Kiersten Brit Cahill, Benjamin Jude Cahill, Iago Sebastian Cahill Salvadó and Nicolas Thomas Cahill Salvadó; his sister-in-law Dianne Gray Cahill; his nieces, Therese Cahill Bower (Philip) and Laura Gray Cahill; his nephew James Fenton Cahill (Beth); and his cousins, Nancy Welsh Sorg (Thomas) and Mary Welsh Wolking (Edward).

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Radel Funeral Home (650 Neeb Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45233). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Victory Church (810 Neeb Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45233).
