He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael L. Kovach and Verna Kovach (Buchanan); and his brother Michael Charles Kovach. He is survived by: his children, Craig Kovach and Julia Kovach; and his siblings, Julia Kovach-Gomia (Robert), Tim Kovach and Patrick Kovach (Tina). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

“So sad to hear this. I knew Tom and his brother Mike from working at Middletown Regional Hospital. Some years later we reconnected through FB and chatted quite a bit and exchanged likes, etc. I know Tom was a good guy, a pure soul. He took such pride in his work, whether it was working in a Cincinnati Sober House for men or working the early shift at a steel processing facility under high temps with no AC. RIP old friend, tell Mike I said hey.🙏🏼😥🙏🏼”
