He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Hemak and Bernice Hemak. He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his sons, Jason (Holly) and Michael (Kjersti); his grandchildren, Joseph, Cecilia, John, Regina, Clayton and Austin; his sisters, Elizabeth Janik and Susan Sinovich (Dave); and his siblings' children, Nicholas Janik (Patti) and Katie Kazas (Dino).
