He was predeceased by: his parents, William E., Sr. and Elizabeth Haass; and his nephew Joseph Birkenhauer. He is survived by: his siblings, William E. Haass, Jr. (Betty) and Catherine Birkenhauer; his niece Jennifer Best (Brian); his great-nephews, Corey and William; and his great-niece Charlotte. He is also survived by other family members and friends.

In loving memory of Thomas, contributions may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital Memorial Giving, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
