He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Thornton Bartlett and Sabbath Emily Kennedy; his wife Marian "Tiny" Bartlett; and his brother Richard Bartlett. He is survived by: his children, Mike (Becky), Kay (Lou) and Mark; his grandchildren, Andrea (Adam), Andrew, Hillary (Rick), Mark (Neenah) and Valerie; and his great grandchildren, Kenny, Kaylee, Kolton, Adalynn, Collin and Haydn.

He would be honored by donations in his memory to local animal shelters.
