It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Timothy Thomas (Cincinnati, Ohio), who passed away on August 16, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Kokiet Lewis; his brother Wright Flight; his daughter Samantha Murphy; his son-in-law Timothy Murphy; his grandsons, Thomas and Emmet; his sister Kathy Serey; and his nieces, Donna Taylor, Deanna Dixon and Danielle McGee. He is also survived by many other family members, former students, and friends.

“I was a student of Dr. Serey at NKU. When I graduated in 1993, he gave me a copy of Dr. Seuss' book, "Oh the place you'll go" with a personal message from him. That book still sits in my office. Today, for some reason, I was moved to read his message again. I looked him up on google and was very saddened to see that he passed. He was a great teacher and a wonderful person. I remember him very fondly and I am grateful our paths crossed. May he rest in peace! Fadi Nahhas”
