We bid farewell to Vesta M. Montag of Cincinnati, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 26, 2025 at the age of 92. Vesta touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson Venter and Clyta Venter; her siblings, Kenneth Russell (Phyllis), Deloris Hunter (Justin), Edward Venter, Eilene Burris (John) and Nelson Venter Jr.; and her grandchild Ryan Montag.
She is survived by: her siblings, Lavon Fields (Bernard), Joann Bode (late Robert) and Glenna Hoog (late Ronald); her husband Thomas Montag; and her grandchildren, Jason Montag (Angela), Chad Montag, Joseph Montag (Amanda), Susan Montag, Sandra Noelting, Michael Noelting, Lynnette Montag, Amberly Moore (Marcus), Whitney Montag and Taylor Montag (Trey Hanson).
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bj Meyer Sons Funeral Home (5864 Bridgetown Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45248). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM and from 10:00 PM to 1:00 AM at the St. Peter Catholic Church (1207 E Rd, Brookville, IN 47012). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
