She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson Venter and Clyta Venter; her siblings, Kenneth Russell (Phyllis), Deloris Hunter (Justin), Edward Venter, Eilene Burris (John) and Nelson Venter Jr.; and her grandchild Ryan Montag.
She is survived by: her siblings, Lavon Fields (Bernard), Joann Bode (late Robert) and Glenna Hoog (late Ronald); her husband Thomas Montag; and her grandchildren, Jason Montag (Angela), Chad Montag, Joseph Montag (Amanda), Susan Montag, Sandra Noelting, Michael Noelting, Lynnette Montag, Amberly Moore (Marcus), Whitney Montag and Taylor Montag (Trey Hanson).
