She was predeceased by: her mother Mamie Bowens. She is survived by: her father James Bowens; her children, Ericka Igbonegun (Ibikunle), Jonte Bowens and Earl Bowens; her sisters, Stephanie Bowens (Cornelius Smith) and Crystal Reese (David); her grandchildren, Ibikunle, Oluwakemi, Abisola and Alayah; her niece Danielle Smith; and her nephew Cornelius Smith. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
