He was predeceased by: his wife Thursa Jessie Fay Kidd (Smithers); his grandchildren, Joanna Wethington, Sarah Kopp and Nathan Dodson; and his brothers, Phillip, Billy and Jesse Kidd.

He is survived by: his children, Zula Ann "Annie" (Cameron Jackson), R. R. (P. R.), Carman Wethington, Jackie (Gary Baldwin) and Veronica Riley (Joe Florczyk). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
