He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles and Virginia; his brother Richard; and his nephew Steven Nicholas. He is survived by: his wife Diane; his sisters, Nancy Mink (late Al) and Virginia Roseberry; the mother of his children Carolyn Pol; his children, Don Wykoff (Susan) and Cheryl Goforth (George); his grandchildren, Cindy Arnold (Brett), Maggie Ballentine, James Wykoff (Jaiden) and Victoria Cunic (Karl); his siblings-in-law, Sharon Thomas (late Gaden), Pati Schultz (Ray) and Carla Nicholas (Robert); his nieces, Kristen Moore (Eric) and Jamie Cooke (Woodrow Tabor); and his nephew Rob Nicholas.

Memorial donations can be made in Waynes name to the Parkside Christian Church.
