He was predeceased by: his parents, Garrett H. Gilreath and Arlena Gilreath; his grandson Aaron Gilreath (Matthew Maverick Gilreath); and his siblings, Garfield Gilreath, Dorothy Sharp, Christine Heatherly, Helen McNeese and Lois Carneal.
He is survived by: his sons, Gregory Keith Gilreath (Eula) and Matthew Erik Gilreath, Sr. (Rachel); and his grandchildren, Donnie Sampson and Apple Q. Envall. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
