He was predeceased by: his wife Geneva DuPriest; and his siblings, Wilmouth Reeves (Ed), Wilford DuPriest (Loretta), Thelma Smith (Harold), Lauraine Shelton (Bob), Paul DuPriest (Rosemary) and John DuPriest (Betty).

He is survived by: his sons, Terrence Lee DuPriest (Cheryl) and Michael W. DuPriest (Debbie). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
