He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Heming and Hilda Heming; his wife Virginia Lee Heming; his children, Victoria Thomas (Bill), Bill Heming (Pam), Timothy Heming (Sara), Thomas Heming (Holly) and Michael Heming (late Greg Hatcher); his grandchildren, April (DJ), RJ, Allison (Leah), Courtney (Marcus), Zachary, Spencer, Emory, TJ, Zoey, Kaylee, Brylee, Kylee, Parker, Avery and Everlee; and his siblings, Agnes Cook and Albert Heming.

In remembrance of William's life, his family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Cincinnati VA Medical Center (VAMC 539).
