He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas "Tom" Earl Lee and Emma "Mimi" Lee; and his siblings, Marie Cutshaw, Charles Lee, Lavern Lee, Katherine Collins, Laura Arnwine and Virgie Crawford.

He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Joann Smith (Richard) and Sandra Patricia Steadman (Daryl). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces/great-nephews and a host of extended family.
