He was predeceased by: his spouse Marceda Rosella; his granddaughter Mary Catherine; his siblings, Roslyn Volk, Lucille Hilbert, Eunice Miller, Rosemary Moster, Anthony Metz, James Metz, Harry Metz, Paul Metz, Dolores Bosse and Thomas Metz; and his parents, William J. Metz and Bertha K. Metz.
He is survived by: his children, William P. Metz (Margaret) and Maria A. Schunk (Todd); his grandchildren, Amanda, William, Joseph, Robert, Andrew and Danielle; and his great grandchildren, Alexander, William, Isla and Henry.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Martin of Tours Church (3720 St Martins Pl, Cincinnati, OH 45211). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Joesph New Cemetery (4500 Foley Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45238).
