He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Heckmann and Estelle Heckmann (Hopper); his wife Lore Heckmann (Schneider); his sons, Timothy Heckmann (Cindy), Theodore Heckmann (Cathy) and Thomas Heckmann (Linda); and his grandchildren, Nicholas Heckmann (Katie), Tracy Beck (Jason), Amy Graves (Seth), Jillian Pipkorn (Derek), Michael Heckmann (Greta) and Megan Wilson (John).
