He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Henry Schmidt and Marie Schmidt; his wife Susan Mary Schmidt; his children, Anthony Schmidt (Nicole), Shari Steinhaus (Paul), Neal Schmidt (Melissa), Ann Keller (Brian) and Nicholas Schmidt (Emily); his brother Timothy Schmidt (Morand); and his brothers-in-law, Robert, Thomas, Timothy and William. He was also cherished by 8 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bellarmine Chapel (3801 Francis Xavier Way, Cincinnati, OH 45207). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Xavier University Cintas Center (16624 Musketeer Dr., Cincinnati, OH).
