He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Grooms (Diltz); and his granddaughter Tesia. He is survived by: his father George Grooms; his wife Sheila Lanman Grooms; his children, Marie Bradshaw, Betsy Rooker (Brandon) and Jason Grooms; and his brother Danny Leach. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and by many nieces and nephews.
