He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bascom and Artie Bevins (Hess); and his siblings, Zollie Bevins, Josephine "Jo" Thacker and Bobby Bevins.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Lanman of Circleville; his children, Jim Bevins (Paula) of Delaware, OH and MaKenzie Scarpitti (Brian) of Dublin, OH; his great grandchildren, Jane Mabel and Henry Oliver; his daughter Jeanie Shaw (Tim) of Circleville; his grandson Nicholas James Shaw; and his siblings, Ruby Hutchinson of Circleville and Bill Bevins (Nancy) of North Ridgeville, OH.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
