He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson II and Esca Steele II (Morrison); his son Wilson Richard Steele IV; and his siblings, Leon Steele and Joann Detillon.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Leeann (Starner); his children, Angela Hart, Michelle Robinson (Carl), Gary Hoffman Jr. (Mikki Fowler) and Christine Tomlinson (Steve); and his siblings, Karen Rogel, Bonnie Harmon, Linda Gonzales and Richard Steele. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wellman Funeral Home (1455 N Court St, Circleville, OH 43113). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at the Maple Hill Cemetery (9198 Cemetery Rd, Stoutsville, OH 43154).
