He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard "Boone" Mahoney and Grace Mahoney; and his grandparents, Beryl, Ruby Dressler, Clarence and Stella Mahoney.

He is survived by: his wife Amanda Mahoney; his daughters, Megan Rainbolt (Chad) and Morgan Miller (Jacob); his grandchildren, Lilly, Rylee Rainbolt and Colson Miller; and his sisters, Bernice Mahoney, Trina Heslep (Bill), Karen Hammond (George) and Judy Turner. He is also survived by other family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Duffy Church of Christ.
