He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert McIntire and Martha Tank McIntire; and his brothers, Bruce and Donald McIntire. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Mills McIntire; his siblings, Roger McIntire, Walter McIntire (Judy), Gary McIntire, Dwight McIntire (Charlene), Gwen Mehler and Lois McIntire (Bill Rose); and his sisters-in-law, Betty McIntire and Mary Katherine McIntire. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Cemetery.
