She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernhard Gawolek and Johanna Gawolek (Ubbing); her daughter Joanie Brausch; and her brother Herbert Gawolek. She is survived by: her husband James Martin Brausch; and her children, Jim Brausch Jr. (Jill) of Scottsdale, AZ, Mike Brausch (Dana) of Clarksville, OH, Susan Parker (Jeff) of Martinsville, OH, Bob Brausch (Dianna) of Clarksville, OH, Dave Brausch (Stephanie) of Clarksville, OH and Lisa Myers (Nathan) of Ft. Thomas, KY. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home (97 W Locust St, Wilmington, OH 45177). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Columbkille Catholic Church (73 N Mulberry St, Wilmington, OH 45177).
