He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Garrety and Ruth Garrety (Stevens); his daughters, Patricia Ann Garrety and Connie Smith (Charlie); his granddaughter Tami; and his siblings, Eugene Garrety, Raymond Garrety, Thomas Garrety and Phyllis Hoppes.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Garrety (Knick); his daughters, Pamela Carey (Kimball), Sarah Henderson (Lonnie) and Grace Rudolph (Martin); and his grandchildren, Alice (Brian), Libby (Andy), Christina (Sam), Clara (Matt), Nicole (Royd), Evan and Helena. He is also survived by Numerous Great Grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
