He was predeceased by: his parents, Regina French (Browning) and James Compton. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Compton (Boggs); his children, Jamie Renee Compton and James Franklin "Bo" Compton III (Krista); his grandchildren, Caitlyn, Caleb, Cylie and Kaiden; his siblings, Jerry French and Robin Walls; and his pet Dax. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
