She was predeceased by: her parents, Goldie Parks (Kimmel) and Garland Parks; her husband Donald E. Lucas; and her brother Wayne Keith Parks. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Lucas (Julie) of Troy, Tedd Lucas of Colorado, John Lucas (Joan) of Troy and Mark Lucas (Tracy) of North Carolina; her brother Darrell Parks (Joan) of Columbus; and her grandchildren, Jackie Snipes (Andrew), Justin Lucas (Laura), Matt Lucas (Katie), Mollie Suber (Christopher), Brendon Lucas (Jessica), Blake Lucas (Sarah) and Bailey Lucas (Logan Vosburg). She is also survived by nieces, along with numerous other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Miami County for their tremendous hospitality and care that they continuously showed Janet and her family.
