He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Copits and Sophia Copits (Pawol); his son Christian Copits; and his siblings, Louis Copits Jr. and Mary Ann Copits.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Copits (Oldham); his sons, Christopher and Shawn-Paul Copits; his stepsons, Sean and Patrick Thomas; his siblings-in-law, Suzanna Copits, Patricia Nickoli (Oldham), Debra Oldham and Robert Oldham; and his pet Mishka. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
