He was predeceased by: his mother Elizabeth Brooks Ford; and his brothers, Amasa (late Daisy), David (late Ann) and Oliver (late Sally). He is survived by: his children, Hope Murphy (Stephen), Sarah Whitener (Mark), Jim and Inger Wogn-Henriksen (Thomas Hestvold); his grandchildren, Abigail Murphy (Joshua Johnston), Alyssa Murphy (Jarred Brown), Daniel Whitener (Eileen), Andrew Whitener (Katherine) and Benjamin Whitener (Chloe Peeples); and his great grandchildren, Bronwyn, Juno Johnston, Arthur, Dora Brown, Henry, Jane Whitener, Lincoln, Mia Whitener and Sophie Peeples.
The university will know to pass the donation on to the Department of Biomedical Engineering.
