He is survived by: his wife Lee; his children, Stephen Apple (Jaye), Kevin Apple (Shelby), Amanda Banchek, Susan Banchek and Beth Mellors (Ben); his grandchildren, Kaila Apple (Alex Heilman), Kyle Apple, Rachel Apple, Benny Apple, Eli Slepian, Ari and Jonah Mellors; and his brothers, Larry Apple (Aileen) and Bill Apple (Donna).
