Mordechai Smilowitz wrote a sympathy message

“Rabbi Grumer was an amazing powerhouse of yiras shamayim and didkduk bemitzvos. In my 10 years living in Cleveland Heights I had the zechus to write gittin in his Beis Din. I learned from Rabbi Grumer not just what to do, but how to do it. His derashos were profound, insightful, extremely well-prepared and inspired fear awe and love for Hashem. He spoke at one of my children's Brisin and honred us with his presence. Chaval al DiAvdin. The family should have a nechamah. M. Smilowitz.”
