She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris Shon and Eva Shon; her sons, Larry, Lee and Kenny Gilbert; her brother Leon Shon (Gertrude); and her close friend Shelly Katz.
She is survived by: her daughter Shelley LaCagnin (Michael); her grandson Keith LaCagnin (Ansley); and her great grandchildren, Silas and Rhodes.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mayfield Cemetery (2749 Mayfield Rd, Cleveland Heights, OH 44106).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to a charity of the family's choice.
