He was predeceased by : his parents, Miriam T. Freer and Depew C. Freer; his wife Marita Grubb; and his siblings, Mary Alice Cannon (Gerald) and Thompson Freer (Betty).

He is survived by : his children, Susan Vecchio (Dean) and David Freer (Seema); and his grandchildren, Jae, Tyler Hubay (Samantha), Ruth and Miriam Freer.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Steinbauer Funeral Home (33375 Bainbridge Rd, Solon, OH 44139). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Kindrich-McHugh Steinbauer Funeral Home (33375 Bainbridge Rd, Solon, OH 44139).
