In the sacred silence of farewell, John is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that John's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Michelle Scott; his son Patrick Scott (Andrea); his grandchildren, Theodore and Charlotte; and his siblings, Joan Ewing (Thomas), Barbara, David and Martha Scott. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schulte & Mahon-Murphy Funeral Home (5252 Mayfield Rd, Lyndhurst, OH 44124). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Saints Parish-St. Ann Church (2175 Coventry Rd, Cleveland Heights, OH 44118).
