He is survived by: his wife Pat; his daughters, Louise Hanavan (Silas) of Wolfville, NS and Emily Leslie (Alexander) of Cleveland Heights; his grandchildren, Hilda Hanavan, Theodore and Beatrice Leslie; his siblings, Lisa Klepfer (Jim) and Thompson Hanavan (Colleen Glair); and his cousins, David Elwood, Brenda Kelsey Moore, Charles "Kip", Kevin Kelsey and Jane Louttit.
