He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Virginia; his sons, Santo (Jill), Andrew (Deborah) and Steven Berardi (Jane); his grandchildren, Nichole (Bryan), Jordan, Steven, Gregory, Garrett, Carter and Luka; and his sisters, Albina and Renee.

In Lieu of flowers, contributions suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
