With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara A. Maloney (Cleveland, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her children, Mary and Kevin; her parents, Andrew Sasala and Anna Sasala; and her sisters, Joan (Blakely) and Kay Gouslin (Bill).

She is survived by: her spouse Thomas; her children, Tim (Cathy), Patty, Kathleen, Tom (Lisa), Mark (Angela), Matthew (Bernadette), Clare Costello (Tim), Greg (Katie), Terry (Justine) and Peggy Sievers (Corey); and her brother Joseph (Judy).

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Mel Church or Hospice of the Western Reserve.

“Leanie (Kathleen) has been a dear friend to me since we were four years old--a wonderful 58 years. Her mom was a very sweet and kind person. Having lost both of my parents I know that it is a very sad and difficult time. Even now when I have my worst days mourning their loss it gives me comfort in knowing that they are with God and He called them home. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. You all have an angel named Barbara watching over you. Debbie Korntheuer”
