She was predeceased by: her close friend Jack Stein; her parents, Albert Capretta and Genevieve Capretta; and her siblings, Loretta Foose (Roger), Dominic Capretta and Kathleen Vargo (Bill).

She is survived by: her children, Gina VanBeck, John Verzi (Jeannie) and Barb Jurick (Wayne); and her grandchildren, Jeanette Verzi, John Verzi, Joshua Verzi (Valerie Gibbons), Sarah Reynolds (Travis), Caroline Beckman, Joshua VanMeter and Dominic Verzi.
