She is survived by: her children, Manuel D. Portes (Elsie G.), Maria D. Portes-Lewis (Gerald D.) and Carmen J. Lewis (late James); her grandchildren, Manuel Portes, Elsie Barnes, Denise Portes, Victor Portes, Carter Portes and Maria Vicioso; and her siblings, Elvecia Almonte and Daisy Almonte.
