She was predeceased by: her parents, David L. Gruber and Beverly Ann Gruber; and her brother John Gruber. She is survived by: her husband James Thomas; her children, Kristen Lucas (Mike), Jimmy Thomas (Marley Cooper) and Julie VanStrien (Josh); and her granddaughter Aurora VanStrien.
