He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Smith and Helen Smith; his daughter Michelle Smith; and his siblings, Edward Smith, Donald, Earl Smith, Marcella Smith (Ferraro), Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Smith (Molnar), Marge Smith (Carlin) and Evelyn Krinsky.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Dolly" Smith; his son Michael Smith; his daughter-in-law Joelle; his grandchildren, Madeline Smith, Julia Smith (Cole), Grace Smith, Audrey Smith and Connor Smith; his great grandchild Hudson (Johnson); his nephew Donald Smith; and his pet Lucy.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Tomon and Son's Funeral Home (4772 Pearl Rd, Cleveland, OH 44109). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church (4170 N Amber Dr, Brooklyn, OH 44144). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the American Legion Post 91 (91 American Legion Pkwy, Berea, OH 44017).
