He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Arleta Johnson, Bertha Denise King (Darin) and Daniel R. Sapp, Jr. (Kimberly); his sister Lillian Lowe (James); his grandchildren, Dennie J. Johnson (Aerianna), Demetrius Johnson (Doniss), Daniel R. Sapp, III and Sloane Sapp (Mario); his great grandchildren, Javien, Carter, Savannah, Ellianna, Lavender, Tylin, Aliya, Demetrius, Priest, DeAngelo, Zhi and Kaiya; and his sisters-in-law, Ruby Sapp and Charlotte Sapp. He is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cummings & Davis Funeral Home (13201 Euclid Ave, East Cleveland, OH 44112). A wake will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Second Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church (11901 Union Ave, Cleveland, OH 44105). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
