He was predeceased by: his parents, John FitzGerald and Mary FitzGerald; and his siblings, Marilyn Gardner (Bob) and Claire McKellogg (Bob). He is survived by: his wife Florence M. FitzGerald; his children, John (late Dawn), Tim (MB), Megan Burke (Patrick) and Brian (Suzie); his grandchildren, Ryan (Sara), Brynn (Danny), Chris, Ani of Teddy, JD, Sebby, Kyleigh, Drew and Peter; his great grandchild Gianna; his brother Bob (Mary Lynne); and his close friend Laddie.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Murphy Funeral Home (5252 Mayfield Rd, Lyndhurst, OH 44124). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Church of the Gesu (2470 Miramar Blvd, University Heights, OH 44118).
