He was predeceased by: his parents, Fannie Mae Miles and Edward Reed. He is survived by: his sons, Demetrious Miles (California), Dale Porter (California) and Lieutenant Colonel Otis Thomas (Ohio); and his siblings, Priscilla Banks, Rev. Alan D. Banks (Vanessa), Michael P. Banks and Rev. Thomas D. Banks (Alfreda). He is also survived by Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
