He is survived by : his children, Damien (Lecia), Corey (Hannah) and Carli Spates; his grandchildren, Nishani, Ashley Pearson and Vanessa Spates; and his siblings, Beatrice Horton, Deloris Crayton, Brenda Powers, Marie Todd, Gerald (Linda), Tommy (Betty) and Terry Spates (Darlene). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
