With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Stringer (Cleveland, Ohio), born in Lakewood, Ohio, who passed away on March 22, 2026 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Erla; his son Mark; his parents, Anne Caine and Mark Stringer; and his sisters, Ursula Csercevits, Anne Therese Jeewek and Mary Rita Fallon.
He is survived by: his children, Lilly Vida (George), Irene Maas (Mike), Jerry Stringer of Cleveland Ohio and Sharon Kanter (Doug); and his siblings, Patricia O'Malley and Jim Stringer. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in Jerry and Erla's names to the American Cancer Society (https://donate.cancer.org) or a charity of your choice in their honor.
