He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Giersz and Jerome A. Giersz; and his brother Dennis Giersz. He is survived by: his wife Loretta; his daughters, Debbie Latessa, Stephanie Bunch (Jason) and Justine "Tina" Pfeiffer; his grandchildren, Brian, Justin, Taylor, Jason, Dominic, Julee, Evan, Jillian, Nathan and Brendan; and his great grandchildren, Michael and Kaia.
