He was predeceased by: his wife Judy; his parents, Jakiw Sochacky and Maria Sochacky; and his parents-in-law, John and Evelyn Smotzer.
He is survived by: his daughter Christina Carnabuci (Philip); his brother-in-law John Smotzer (late Vicki); his nieces and nephews, Victor Wojtychiw (Maria), Yuri Wojtychiw and Elizabeth Mieskowski (Joseph); his great-nephew Michael Wojtychiw; his great-niece Melanie Glubisz; his grandson Nico; Caroline, Evelyn, Joseph, Jr., Alexander Mieskowski, Simon and Vika Glubisz.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ripepi Funeral Home (5762 Pearl Rd, Cleveland, OH 44129). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Church (6750 State Rd, Cleveland, OH 44134).
