It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph E. Benedict Jr. of Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on May 16, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Joseph shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joseph farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his sisters, Brenda Basnik (Jim Basnik), Kathy Landon (late Michael Landon) and Navy; his daughters, Jennifer Waldron (Tim Waldron) and Jayme Benedict; his wife Kathy; his son-in-law Tim Waldron; and his granddaughters, Gabriella, Kaylynn and Dagny.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the A. Ripepi & Sons Funeral Home (18149 Bagley Rd, Cleveland, OH 44130). A prayer was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Sunday, May 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the VFW (17900 Strongsville Blvd, Strongsville, OH 44149).
